What this site is

ChamberIndex is a public index of business and community events gathered from chamber and organization websites. The goal is to make it easier to discover what’s happening across local business communities.

ChamberIndex may also publish local business and community story pages created from submitted video links and related information.

Use of this site

You’re welcome to browse and use this site for general informational purposes.

Please don’t attempt to:

  • disrupt or interfere with the site
  • misuse the data in a way that harms others or the source organizations
  • copy, scrape, republish, or reuse large portions of the site in a way that competes with or misrepresents ChamberIndex

Event information

Event details such as dates, times, locations, titles, and descriptions may be gathered from third-party sources.

Because of this:

  • information may change
  • events may be updated, moved, or canceled
  • details may not always be complete or current

If something is important, you should verify it with the original source or hosting organization.

Data sources

Event information is collected from publicly available listings, including chamber of commerce websites and similar organizations.

All event ownership, branding, names, logos, and details belong to their respective organizations.

ChamberIndex is intended to help people discover events and then visit the original source for full details, registration, updates, and official information.

ChamberIndex Stories

ChamberIndex Stories are hosted story pages that may include submitted YouTube videos, written summaries, transcript text, business information, links, and related content.

Videos submitted to ChamberIndex remain hosted by the original YouTube account and are subject to YouTube’s own availability, terms, and policies.

Story pages are provided as part of the ChamberIndex platform. If a supporter’s membership ends, if the Story Support service is discontinued, or if ChamberIndex changes or discontinues part of the platform, published story pages may be removed, archived, or become unavailable.

Story Supporters are responsible for keeping their own copies of original videos, files, business information, and any content they wish to preserve.

ChamberIndex may, at its discretion, provide a copy or export of published story content when available, but ChamberIndex is not required to provide archival storage, backups, exports, or migration services.

Content submitted to ChamberIndex

By submitting a video link, business information, text, images, or other material to ChamberIndex, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and allow ChamberIndex to publish it as part of the site.

You also allow ChamberIndex to create related summaries, transcript text, excerpts, titles, descriptions, and formatting based on the submitted content.

ChamberIndex may decline, edit, remove, or archive submitted content at its discretion, including content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, outdated, promotional in a misleading way, or not relevant to the local business/community focus of the site.

Responsibility

This site is provided as a convenience and reference tool.

We are not responsible for:

  • inaccuracies in event data
  • changes made by event organizers
  • broken links or unavailable third-party pages
  • videos removed from YouTube or other third-party platforms
  • decisions made based on the information provided
  • loss of access to hosted ChamberIndex story pages if the service changes or ends

We keep things simple.

We do not collect personal information directly through this site unless you choose to contact us or submit information for publication.
